As I mentioned in the last lecture, we are doing a final questionnaire for self-reflection on what you have learned in the course, as well as providing us with useful feedback about your thoughts on the different tools and methods. You'll find it in the "General" tab of the course, right below the "News from secretary and teacher" forum.

Please, fill it out before end of next week (by June 5).

Hi all,

This is just a reminder that today we will have the last lecture of the course.

I want also to remind you about the homework of modelling (at least partially) some problem in PDDL. This could be some original problem that you thought about, the one in the exercise sheet, or even some of the problems from the UPPAAL part of the lecture (e.g. rush hour). We will start the lecture briefly discussing the difficulties that you encountered during the exercise.

AI Planning Part

Hi all,

I posted this on Teams, but I'm also posting this on Moodle in case someone missed it there.

On Thursday we will start the last part of the course about AI Planning.

For some of the exercises, we will use the Fast Downward tool: http://www.fast-downward.org/

Please, follow the instructions in the webpage (http://www.fast-downward.org/ObtainingAndRunningFastDownward) to download and compile the tool. In principle, it should work under Linux/Windows/Mac, let me know if you have any issue with that.

First Lecture and UPPAAL

Dear all

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow afternoon for the first lecture in the PhD Course
"Automated Planning Tools for Intelligent Decision Making". In the two first lectures we will focus on how to use the modeling formalism and model checking engine of the UPPAAL tool suite for optimal (static or dynamic) planning in settings where timing constraints are essential.

Before tomorrow I will ask you all to have downloaded the current development version 4.1.24 of UPPAAL. You can find the download page at
